Create your account

Go to the sign-up page and fill in the form. Four fields are required:

  • Name
  • Organisation name
  • Email
  • Password (at least 8 characters)

Select Sign up to create your account.

When you sign up without an invite link, SILWise creates a brand new organisation using the Organisation name you typed and makes you its owner. SILWise also sets up a starting set of cost centres for your new organisation, ready to use. Once you’re in, an org owner can add your organisation’s ABN and logo too - see set up organisation branding.

If someone at your organisation has invited you, you’ll receive a link that opens the same sign-up form. You won’t see the Organisation name field, because you’re joining an organisation that already exists - fill in Name, Email and Password, and select Sign up.

The difference happens after you submit: instead of creating a new organisation, SILWise adds you to the organisation you were invited to, with whatever access level the person who invited you set. No new organisation is created for you, and you won’t need to set up cost centres yourself - they already exist for that organisation.

Use the same email address the invitation was sent to. If you sign up with a different email, or if the invitation has already been used, SILWise will tell you the invitation is invalid and won’t let you continue.

Go to the sign-in page and enter your Email and Password, then select Sign in.

If you don’t have an account yet, select Create an account underneath the form to go to the sign-up page instead. Once your details check out, you’re taken straight into SILWise, ready to work.

If your email or password doesn’t match, SILWise shows a plain “Invalid email or password. Please try again.” message. It doesn’t say which one is wrong, so check both:

  • You’re using the exact email you signed up with.
  • Your password is typed correctly - it’s case-sensitive.

SILWise doesn’t currently have a self-service way to reset a forgotten password. If you’re still stuck, contact whoever set up your organisation’s account - they’ll be able to check your details.

Once you’re signed in, head to the quick start guide to set up your first house.
